The Sarnoff Collection is pleased to present the continuation of the SARNOFF INNOVATION SERIES

LECTURE Dr. Arthur Molella Director Emeritus, Smithsonian Institution, Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation Ralph Baer's Lab and the Birth of Video Games The lecture will explore the fertile laboratory environment that gave birth to the famous "Brown Box" of Ralph Baer, often known as "the father of the home video game." EXHIBITION Computer Fun for the Whole Family: Video Games and the Sarnoff Collection An exhibition of artifacts and images from the Sarnoff Collection that shows how RCA engineers helped shape the modern video game industry. Opening reception, Wednesday, November 4, 5:00–6:30 p.m., Sarnoff Collection, Roscoe West Hall, Second Floor

The lecture and exhibition are free and open to the public.
