How to do vintage computer videos may be a possible talk for a future VCF if its in scope. I stumbed through using kdenlive to make my video. Didn't find resolve when I was looking for what software to use. One of the annoying thinks with kdenlive was there was a major interface change so a lot of the how to video didn't work with the current UI. If you don’t have Resolve, get it – it’s 100% free and one of the best: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/

There are hundreds of great how-to-edit-with-resolve vids on YouTube.

You can fix almost all your issues ‘in post’ with something like resolve and a little more time.

Leveling out the sound would be the best improvement.
