I was at Festivus on Saturday. It wasn't just games and food. I had some good discussions with a number of people on vintage topics. Someone brought a Fabritek PDP-8 clone controller, and Neil Cherry and I helped him with some I/O diagnostics - it's an odd architecture. There was brisk trade in 360K diskettes, S-100 cards and not-so-old Byte magazines. And it's a good time and place to catch-up with friends and colleagues about activities going into winter.
