ISO 5.25" Floppy Disk Notcher Availability
Good Morning All, Since I have recently rekindled my love for vintage computers. My collection of vintage computers have slightly increased. I am now in search of an old school 5.25" Floppy Disk Notcher. After a brief search online, availability seems to be very limited(as one would expect). Any suggestions on how to obtain one would be greatly appreciated. Also, I realize that there might be a 3d printed option, but sadly I do not currently have access to a 3D printer. I'm located in Ocean County. Thanks in advance. Russell
Kids these days. Back when I was a wee nerd, we didn't use 'notchers'. We used exacto knives. Uphill. Both ways. (fr srs though, cutting it by hand with an xacto works fine) On Mon, Jun 6, 2022 at 11:25 AM Russell LeChard via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Yup, a hole punch what I used also. Also works well for the 8” floppies. Jeff On Mon, Jun 6, 2022 at 8:34 AM Jonathan Chapman via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

A 1/4 inch hole punch also works :P
Thanks, Jonathan
We don’t need no stinking notchers! Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.
