Fwd: Another question, repairs?
Is there someone local that might be of assistance? -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Another question, repairs? Re: Your order: 5677 Date: Thu, 17 Dec 2015 18:58:59 -0500 From: To: fulfillment@go4retro.com Hello again. I purchased a nice unused vic20 1541 drive off ebay that worked when it was shipped, when it arrived at my house it wont stop spinning and red and green lights just stay on (yes seller refunded my money). I checked over the obvious inside but nothing comes up as bad. I see you were in Wall Township NJ at some point? Do you know of anyone in New Jersey that repairs commodore items? Thanks Brian North Brunswick, NJ
I'll send him a message about joining our list and attending a workshop. On 12/18/2015 09:29 PM, RETRO Innovations via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Start by checking the ROM marked 901229 and/or the caps associated with this circuit. Could be the 6502. -- Bill
