Oops -- I just realized March 23 is the Trenton show next year. We could do both, I suppose...
Yes. We can do both. Most people come to workshop one day. Not everyone goes to TCF. What is everyone else’s plan on that day? On Fri, Oct 26, 2018 at 1:19 AM Evan Koblentz <evan@vcfed.org> wrote:

I think TCF ends at 5pm, or is it 6pm? I don't remember. Either way we could head back to IA for workshop dinner around 7ish. On Fri, Oct 26, 2018, 12:04 PM Jeffrey Brace <jeffrey@vcfed.org> wrote:

Uggh. I seem to be plagued with schedule conflicts. Oh wait. I forgot that I will be at VCF PNW. I’m gonna move it to Mar. 30 & 31. I had good dates picked out at the beginning, but trying to balance availability with the Sandy area and Infoage got me all confused. Any problems with any of the other dates? If the March workshop wilp be at the end of that month, then we should cancel the April workshop. Everyone: we haven't made it 100% official, but -- shhh, don't tell anyone :) -- VCF East 2019 will be in early May. Also: no more Roman numerals. Just years now. Me personally I don't have a problem with only a couple weeks between workshops. Most of us can’t make all 4 so it’s nice to have options and a short time between two can always allow for the “to be continued” projects that didn’t get finished to be continued in short order. Just my .02

Earlier is better than this past years dates in my opinion. The biggest complaints I heard from those in attendance and those I knew that couldn’t attend was the increased cost for accommodations because of the seasonal increases at many hotels/motels (some made one day rates as expensive as two day rates were only a couple of weeks earlier) and the difficulty of being during May as many college kids are out of school by early/mid May etc making it more difficult to get away. Obviously the weather is nicer but that’s just what I heard from people I know or spoke to.
Also: no more Roman numerals. Just years now.
Years are cool. I liked the Roman numerals personally but same same. 10,11,12,etc or 2018,19,20,etc. Tony

We understand any agree. We can't go any earlier than May 4-6 (first weekend) due to various other factors, so we picked that weekend and hopefully the two weeks difference (from May 18-20 last year) will help with lower travel expenses.

Me too, but the board decided on years and they convinced me that it makes sense.
