Due to an error by the supplier, I received the wrong item when placing an online order and ended up with two soldering irons that I can't use. I can't use them because they are 220V and have a European plug. https://www.banggood.com/Mustool-MT223-60W-Adjustable-Temperature-Electric-S... Is anyone interested in taking them off my hands? If so, I can bring them to VCF East or one of the workshops at InfoAge. I just figured that I would ask before I threw them in the trash (which I hate). Chris
Any chance they used switched power supplies? If they auto-sense you might just be able to put a different plug on them, or use one of those travel adapters. On Thu, Feb 28, 2019 at 3:36 PM Chris Fala via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

It is just a pencil type with no base so I doubt it can handle other voltages (label says 220V). A travel adapter would be fine but I don't have one. If I get stuck with them I might buy something like that. On Thu, Feb 28, 2019 at 4:00 PM Matt Reynolds via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Chris, this might be a case of just the wrong plug (replace and it's fixed). -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies
