Btw...MARCH had a swap meet in Wilmington DE in 2007 or so. We rented the delaware history museum and it was pretty well attended. Looking back through the archives, I see that the Wilmington Swap Meet was on October 7, 2006. I was there, but have no pictures. I believe that's where I traded a sandwich to Bill Degnan for a TRS-80 Model 2. :-) On Thu, 29 Jun 2023, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Lets get back to the point- Jeff's production of the swap meet. Jeff: thanks for working this idea of a swap meet. It has been a huge success because of YOUR dedication to the mid-atlantic community and YOUR work to sweat the details that make it happen and ever evolving to be most effective. AND also to the team that is dedicated to working all the angles of this with you, the ever-ready local body of the Mid-Atlantic VCF... a group I think like none other... ... in the world? Thank. you. DC On 6/29/2023 1:46 PM, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Thanks Doug! Yes everyone was drifting off topic. I would love to reminisce, but that would be served better with a new topic thread. As Doug stated I have lead the effort with tremendous support from volunteers. Our success couldn't have been done with my leadership and the efforts of all the volunteers involved. Being recognized by Hackaday will serve to give us more recognition and help the swap meet grow as well as awareness of our efforts to raise money to preserve and to teach about these artifacts. It's nice to see hard work pay off and an event grow. Thanks everyone! On Fri, Jun 30, 2023 at 11:43 AM Douglas Crawford via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
