I couldn't feel it but did have a metal decorative object hanging on the wall that was vibrating and making noise for around 30 seconds. I'm in Bethesda MD. Was wondering what the cause was. On Fri, Apr 05, 2024 at 02:48:47PM +0000, Richard Cini via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

I definitely felt it. I was in Holmdel in a 5th grade classroom. Not too far from it. I thought it was a truck going by, then that didn't make sense, then thought it was children stomping on the 2nd floor, then it went on for too long and was too strong. Saw the projector screen moving the ceiling tiles shaking and making noise. Then I thought it must be an earthquake. We don't have earthquake drills in NJ. I wonder if they have them in California. The funny thing was we had just had a fire drill about 50 minutes before the earthquake.

Wasn’t there an earthquake in Taiwan the other day? This was probably an aftershock from that. We felt it in Freehold. Lucky the IT office is in the basement! It was quite the rollercoaster. -Ian L. Dad (in Bridgewater) felt it, and a painting fell off the wall. Sister was further away in Albany, New York. She felt it. None of us felt anything in Hunt Valley (Baltimore) which is much closer to the epicenter than Albany. Yes, there was something like a 7. whatever Quake in Taiwan, also a tsunami or tidal wave I don’t know what the devastation was there, but it must’ve been pretty bad and I was thinking the same thing that may be that quake had something to do with our quake. And of course we’ve got the solar eclipse coming up😵 Not to mention passover, so maybe this is God telling us something.🙏 Mike R. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

I am in Edison My wife told me she thought the wash machine exploded because she was doing wash and the house shook, it lasted about 30 seconds centered in Lebanon New Jersey. I think they said it was the Ramapo Faultline. My daughter felt it down in Maryland. People out in Long Island felt it and in New York I was in my car stopped at a light I felt my car goes sideways slightly. Didn’t feel it for 30 seconds, but may be about five that was it for me Mike R Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.
