Gowanas E-waste Warehouse shutting down
The Gowanus E-waste Warehouse which for the past (8 years?) has taken in electronics waste including vintage computers is shutting down. Most likely it is due to Covid-19 and a decrease in sales. They had a "store" where they sold used items which they sometimes refurbished. In any case you can call to make an appointment for 30 minutes to see what they have and there is a limit of 2 people inside at a time. You must wear a face mask and gloves. Yeah they contacted me a week ago, but just found out that they are selling and not donating to us.

One of their people just posted on Facebook that all console TV’s are free, and there were some good ones, a 27” Sony, some Zenith System 3 sets, RCA XL-100’a and what appeared to be an RCA CTC-10 Color roundie from 1960. Well worth looking into if you are near Brooklyn and can transport and have room for the sets. Sent from my iPhone

If someone goes to this, I'm looking for a GE Porta-Color (around 1975) 13 inch TV. If you find one, I'll make it worth your while to grab it and hold it for me.
