FYI: Vintage Anniversaries
As part of the brainstorming for VCF East themes we came up with anniversaries. I am sharing them here. I'm sure that there are many more that we missed, so this list isn't exhaustive, but these are the most interesting and important that came to mind when brainstorming. I thought I would share to inspire and as an FYI. I have been trying to get my PDP-11/20 back together for this anniversary but so far, other disasters have completely absorbed my attention. One of the elements that would have to be recreated is an RF11 on a Unibone - the swap disk.
Magnavox Odyssey = 1972
I have one of these. I've been looking for a B&W TV larger than 14" for a while now to go with it (I didn't start early enough when people were dumping 19" B&W TVs at thrift stores 20 years ago).
