*OT*, but I don't know how else to contact Ian
Ian Primus... I don't know if you're interested in this, but it seems to be right up your alley, and you're the first person I thought of when I saw this item. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heathkit-Television-with-Manual-Remote-Vintage-from... I'd hate to see this get trashed, but I'm not in a position to acquire it myself... even for the $1 asking price. Thanks, Jeff Salzman
has anyone gotten in touch with Ian, I sent him something but received no response. On Wed, Oct 2, 2019 at 8:52 AM Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Best way to reach him is via any of the major IRC channels (Apple II, vcfed, etc., where he is 'Sark') or by phone. He's not on email very much. On Wed, Oct 2, 2019, 9:54 AM Christian Liendo via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

FYI that TV is a Zenith System 3 TV, they were good but had a couple of common failure points, mainly the verticle module. This TV is very different than the older Heathkit TV's which where designed in house and included some pretty interesting features for the time and could be quite expensive like the GR-2000 was. Yes, I remember those zenith TVs very well ( I used to be a Zenith dealer) Boards were really not that difficult to repair. I still have an older Zenith system 3 console TV 25 inch with turntable, 8 track recorder and ultrasonic remote control. (If anyone wants it, come an get it!) The "space phone" feature came later. Which was really not that good. Personally, I like the other Heathkit TVs with the on screen clock display and such. Mike R. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

While I have no need for or desire to keep the aforementioned tv I could purchase it, pick it up and store it briefly for someone interested. Including sir Ian! Someone just needs to let me know if they want it. I have emailed Ian directly as well. Tony
