Thanks to all for the help with the Ampex video terminal. Definitely now what I thought when I bought it. In terms of nothing appearing on the screen when I turn it on, Herb mentioned playing with the contrast. I did try that and still got nothing. So I really do think it is effectively dead. So this is well above my paygrade in terms of being able to use this in any meaningful way. If anyone on the list is interested in it let me know.
