Santa brought me a Retro Chip Tester Professional (just the main board with the programmed AtMega installed, plus the DC/DC converter board). Now to order the parts and start soldering! Mike Loewen mloewen@cpumagic.scol.pa.us Old Technology http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/

Fantastic! I absolutely love mine. It gets lots of use, between LSSM stuff and my own repairs. I do wish he'd thought ahead a bit more before designing it, but it works very well and has made short work of a great many hardware problems. The next time you come out here, don't let me forget, I have a bunch of spare adapter PCBs of various sorts for it. Made in sets of three, dontcha know. Dave, I haven't built mine yet. Do you have spares of the necessary parts I can purchase from you? Chris On Sun, Dec 25, 2022 at 2:12 PM Dave McGuire via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

Yes it is, but it looks like it will warm up for the new years eve. and day! 55 degrees seems like a heat wave compared to 10 degrees with wind chill below zero!

Nothing related to vintage computers, but some good stuff!
