Bag-o-chips sorting, storing, testing
Someone donated a "bag-o-chips". If anyone is interested in sorting these, let me know. I also need ideas on how to store them for easy access. These would be available as parts for repair workshops for anyone. For the truly ambitious, you could test these chips. Some of them appear to be labeled by the person who donated them: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1m_HDOTWr9RdkSnNx51C9xzDZBX4u-k2G?usp... ========================================= Jeff Brace Vice President & Board Member Vintage Computer Festival East Show-runner Vintage Computer Federation is a 501c3 charity http://www.vcfed.org/ jeffrey@vcfed.org
Hello! Jeffrey are any of the shown numbers on the list I submitted? Other than that, what's involved in looking at them over the coming weekend? ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." I have no idea. I haven't opened the bag and I don't have time to sort through and check against your list. Sorry!

I don't know one chip from another. So looking at the label on the chip and identifying the "simple" name for the chip and then putting all like chips in one bag. Hopefully I have time to find some anti static bags between now and Saturday.

My TL866 can test the 74XX and 40XX logic chips to see if they are good. On Tue, Apr 20, 2021 at 5:52 PM Martin Flynn via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
