EGA Monitor for 3/26 work weekend
I'm planning on attending the 3/26-3/27 work weekend and towing along a PC/AT that I could use some advice and help with. Do we know if there is a working EGA monitor in the warehouse that I can use for the weekend so that I don't risk damaging my own on a lengthy car trip? If you knew specific models or guide me to look for, then I could tell you. Otherwise someone more familiar with the monitors in the warehouse and with how to tell what is EGA capable could answer.

What about a multisync? You need a relatively early model to display digital video though. Jeffrey, The IBM 5154 is IBM's EGA monitor model and will probably be the most common. At home, I use a Princeton Graphics HX-12E. There are other third party monitors, such as the TVM (Taiwan Video & Monitor) MD-3. The IBM 5154 looks like its IBM CGA counterpart, except that on the 5154 the IBM badge reads "IBM Enhanced Color Graphics" instead of "IBM Personal Computer Color Display". Good morning, I plan on being there on Saturday and I can bring an IBM 5154. Just give me a day or two to make sure it works, as I haven't used it since I picked it up. If I'm not there for Sunday, I'm sure someone could hold on to it until I can get it back.
