I'm going to Kennett Classic's event this Saturday, how about you?
I think this will be a fun event to go to. I'm going to check out the new changes to the museum there and the outdoor event. I also heard a rumor that VCF will have a table there showing off a vintage computer. Who else is going to the event? I'm also looking forward to the dinner afterwards. -- ========================================= Jeff Brace Vice President & Board Member Vintage Computer Festival East Show-runner Vintage Computer Federation is a 501c3 charity http://www.vcfed.org/ jeffrey@vcfed.org cell: 732-759-1783

I tentatively plan to be there. I can drop off the VCF's Zorba that I was working on. It's not completely finished, but it needs Ian's touch to bring the video up to snuff. Mike Loewen mloewen@cpumagic.scol.pa.us Old Technology http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/

I'm going in the morning only, to see some old/real friends. I would like to buy some items if anyone has them available: - Early PC (8088-286), but not a real IBM XT/AT. I would like something smaller. It doesn't have to be a luggable but it cannot be a huge box. Must have an ISA slot and be fully working. Also need the keyboard, monitor, etc. Brand doesn't matter. Appearance should be decent/good. - One plain-Jane beige VGA CRT (for my 486). Also need a matching period keyboard and mouse, prefer no-name brands (not IBM/Compaq, etc.) - One plain-Jane composite CRT. Again I prefer non-branded or a no-name brand, and also prefer a beige color or off-white.
PS. I'm also looking to pick up some cool items for a display case in my new house. I am fond of vintage electromechanical technology, so I'd be interested in acquiring a telegraph key, mechanical adding machine, sextant, perhaps a microscope, etc. ... it must be very clean and presentable. Also would like to get some punched cards, a disk pack, a roll of punched tape, and an 8" floppy. On 9/23/20 11:54 AM, Evan Koblentz wrote:

I'm on call and can't be more than 30min away and it's election season so we are busy. Please take many pictures.
