Surplus books @ Festivus
We have too many books!!! Today I put aside 10 full boxes. There will be many more. I don't think much else will get done before Festivus, but we'll keep putting the pallet of surplus books out for perusal at the winter workshops. Same rules as at VCF East: $1/pound, minimum $1 charge, no fractional increments, and you only get the actual box if you buy a whole box worth. We'll need a postal scale to make this work. ________________________________ Evan Koblentz, executive director Vintage Computer Federation a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit evan@vcfed.org (646) 546-9999 www.vcfed.org facebook.com/vcfederation twitter.com/vcfederation instagram.com/vcfederation

Oh... now I'm doubly sad I won't be at Festivus. I'm a sucker for vintage computing books. (my latest assignment is in Indianapolis and driving from 12-14 hours from NJ to the hotel on a Sunday after a 10 hour drive Friday/Saturday is just a bit much). Enjoy! -ethan
Now that we're post-Festivus, I thought I would point out that old (er..) vintage computer books work well in the consignment room. I was planning to bring a bunch myself. I hope you're right, because if we can't sell (or even give away) all these books at VCF East, then I don't know what to do with them.
"UNIQUE" takes almost anything. You may have to deliver. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

Might be worth inquiring to see if Jason Scott or Internet Archive want them. On Tue, Dec 11, 2018 at 12:58 AM Evan Koblentz via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
