OT: Suggestions for event management software
I'm curious to know if anyone has recommendations on software that would help me manage VCF East. Also suggestions on easy to use database system that I could create my own customized system. Thanks! Hi Jeff, I don’t have a specific recommendation in mind, but would be glad to have a conversation to learn your needs and possibly help you find a solution. Let me know how I can assist. Keith Albright E: AlbrightKJ@qakr.net

Hmm, I think it would take a good bit to get it running but Magfest (attendance 23,500) built software for managing their event. They kind of grew up together: https://github.com/magfest/ubersystem It's free as in beer. It handles a lot. From staff schedules, to dietary restrictions for staff meals to schedule of events, ticketing probably. Badge check in and on and on. It might take a learning curve? I haven't seen it since pre-covid. Bronycon also ran it I believe. Maybe a few others. - Ethan On Wed, 29 Oct 2025, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

A friend developed a system we used for VW TDI events. I can ask him about it. -J On Wed, Oct 29, 2025 at 5:08 AM Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
