Hi, Do any of you folks out there in VCF land have the ability to write me a disk for the Commodore 64 with a terminal app, like this one? http://commodore.software/downloads/download/59-ccgms/410-ccgms-elite-v2-0 I am trying to get back into the retro comp/gaming scene, and I'm working on building a wifi "modem" from an IoT board. I'm contemplating going to the repair day, but even if I don't make it, I am down at the base frequently and can pick it up sometime soon. I will be more than happy to send you a disk. Thanks for the help. Matt
I know a few guys who can do that. I am hoping to be at the workshop on Sunday. If you don’t hear from someone else more local (I am in PA), let me know and I will pack some stuff for the task. Chris PS: There are a couple different WiFi modems for the Commodore 64 for sale if you don’t feel like building one. Yeah. I can easily do this at the museum. I have a uIEC and CBMCommand so I can write disk images to real floppies easily. If you come to the repair workshop, then I can do one for you right there. I'm usually docent on Sundays so I can do one at that time as well. -- ========================================= Jeff Brace Vice President Vintage Computer Federation
By the way everyone CBM Command is a file and disk management utility that supports uIEC. Here is more info: https://www.c64-wiki.com/wiki/CBM-Command. I would be glad to demonstrate to anyone. On Wed, Mar 27, 2019 at 12:42 AM Jeffrey Brace <jeffrey@vcfed.org> wrote:
