Since the WHO has upgraded this to a pandemic, I am very surprised to see VCF E as a possibility for late April. Current trends show that we may have close to 1 million cases in the US by then. By continuing planning VCF E for April, I believe the steering committee is doing a disservice to the community, both among vintage computer enthusiasts and members of Wall Township and surrounding areas. Why not postpone for a future date?
I'd be very curious to see a show of hands who would currently plan to be in attendance in April.

I'm not one to panic, but given the current state of affairs I am considering withdrawing my exhibit from VCF East this. I realize that scheduling is tight for Infoage, but if at all possible I would also urge that the SC consider reschduling the event. Can't we just install the latest version of Norton Anti Virus and be safe? Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Kelly
I don't think they have a good signature for it yet. ;-) Bill S. -----Original Message----- From: vcf-midatlantic [mailto:vcf-midatlantic-bounces@lists.vcfed.org] On Behalf Of Kelly Leavitt via vcf-midatlantic Sent: Thursday, March 12, 2020 10:12 AM To: vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org Cc: Kelly Leavitt Subject: Re: [vcf-midatlantic] VCF East 2020 Update Can't we just install the latest version of Norton Anti Virus and be safe? Yeah same problem. I have Shadow Virus for GEOS 64 and Norton is not compatible with that OS. I need GeoCure to protect myself.

Fwiw, I have a small exhibit this year, but I’m also of the same mindset as Mike L here.
