Maybe. This site ( https://www.breadbox64.com/c64-hardware/commodore-64/assy-250425-rev-a/) seems to confuse me with Assembly number: 250425 having an Rev A & Rev. B https://www.breadbox64.com/c64-hardware/commodore-64/assy-250425-rev-b/. If your site is more trustworthy, then I would assume that breadbox64.com is just wrong and there is *only* a Rev. B version. I might need a third opinion to verify.
I don't recall seeing a Rev. A sell by itself to know how much it goes for. I do know that silver labels with Rev. A or B tend to fetch upwards of $200 on ebay these days. -Alexander 'Z' Pierson On Sunday, March 28, 2021, 04:08:43 PM EDT, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
Hey everyone. I want to start knowing all the differences between motherboards for the C64. A Google search shows some website, but some have mistakes. I prefer a site which has a picture and not a schematic.
Part of the reason is to know the differences for repairing, and part is for selling.
I believe that Rev. A are worth more. Anyone know about selling price for this version of the motherboard?
Thanks!

This is why I am saying use the motherboard revisions to know which C64 you have. There are too many boards and variations to simplify into Rev A and rev B etc ... and there is no consensus. It's not accurate to rely on exterior characteristics like the color of the logo, number of holes for the video port, etc. B On Sun, Mar 28, 2021 at 6:58 PM Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

It's quite a bit of information to weed through, but you may be able to narrow the revision of C64 you have by comparing it to others who have entered their C64 into this public registry. Commodore 64 (C64) Preservation Project <https://c64preservation.com/dp.php?pg=registry> If you find many that have the same physical features, colors, looks as the one you have, and have the same revision designation, then you can consider it a public consensus as to what revision you have. As for rarity, it's still anybody's guess for the most part. Ebay prices generally do not correlate to revision because most people don't specify revision numbers in their ads. One question isn’t there a database that may have serial numbers for each of the different versions? Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

OK. I will do that. I'm starting to piece together information that is more reliable. Thanks!
