April Swap Meet wanted
For anyone coming to the April 24 swap meet: I'm looking for a pair of Teac FD-55BV or FD-55B 1/2-height diskette drives. I'd prefer black, but would take beige. Let me know, off-list. Mike Loewen mloewen@cpumagic.scol.pa.us Old Technology http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/
If I started a Google Docs Sheet with what I plan to bring and my wanted list, would other people use it? Like, add a tab with your name and your stuff? Doesn't have to be a comprehensive list. Is there a list of the VCF museum surplus items aside from what I've seen in pictures? I don't want to poach sales. :) -- Jameel Akari On 2021-03-30 18:46, Mike Loewen via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

I’d be happy to create a Google Sheet with what people are bringing. We have done this in the past for the Festivus swap meet 2 years ago.

There is no list. I don’t have the time to list everything, but I can take pictures of the items and I can list items that I know of off the top of my head.

Cool, yeah I was just about to start it - if you have a layout ready to go, just send out the link. A "wanted" column as well?

No problem, just throw the pictures somewhere and "we" (I) can attempt to write descriptions, assuming the pics weren't taken with a potato.

Hello! And Jeffrey here it is on the list as well as on the spreadsheet. These are TI TTL family gates and F/F devices. SN7423 Dual 4 Input NOR gate With Strobe One Gate Expandable SN7425 Dual 4 Input NOR gate With Strobe SN7450 Dual 2-Wide 2-Input And-OR-Invert Gates (One Gate Expandable) SN7452 Expandable 4-Wide And-OR Gates SN7453 Expandable 4-Wide And-OR-Invert Gates SN7460 Dual 4-Input Expanders SN7461 Triple 3-Input Expanders SN7462 4-Wide And-OR Expanders SN7470 AND-Gated J-K Positive Edge Triggered SN7472 AND-Gated J-K Positive Edge Triggered And these are from AMD and originally from the 1985 databook. Am25LS08 Quad Parallel D Registers with Register Enable Am25LS09 Quad Two-Input High Speed Register Am25S10 Four-Bit Shifter with Three-State Outputs Am25LS15 Quad Serial Adder/Subtractor And those are the parts I am looking for. The AMD parts oddly enough have TI second-source numbers which will also work. I can post those if it would help. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." I'm good with that idea.
I wouldn't be worried about poaching sales. The more items for sale, the more fun everyone has. If VCF sells the first Apple III (yeah, we have an Apple III for sale in surplus), how awesome would it be for people to have another opportunity to buy another (theoretical) Apple III?
