Warehouse Cleanup Sunday, May 7 starting at 10AM
Hello everyone, Just making sure that everyone knows that the correct date for warehouse cleanup is Sunday, May 7 starting at 10AM. Contact me off list if you are interested. Bring gloves if you have them as the items are dirty. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as it is a dusty space. Wear masks if you are sensitive to dust. There is nothing of interest in the warehouse at this point. Unless you want a 32 inch CRT TV or two, broken Christmas lights, scraps of clothing, a big old painting, and other general debris. Pieces of wood, plastic, etc. It's not construction debris. It was used for CEBOT.. There were a few rounds of cleanup already to remove items. It was a general storage for CEBOT (Camp Evans Base of Terror) and other museums. If anyone is interested in pictures, these are from November. Some has changed in that time: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-g5RnkyJsT5X39ln55njbEhmu2Qb_ddm?usp... On Sat, Apr 29, 2023 at 1:28 PM Jeffrey Brace <jeffrey@vcfed.org> wrote:

The rack console in IMG_1308 and IMG_1310 that belongs to CDL was moved. CDL is supplying the structure and some of the controls for the folks with a 60 foot radio telescope in Haswell Colorado http://dses.science/ http://compdecon.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/dses_console_rear.jpg http://compdecon.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/dses_console_front.jpg On 4/29/2023 4:03 PM, Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Shame it wasn't the following weekend. I'll be in Philadelphia that following Saturday until noon and could head to Infoage after I'm done there, for the remainder of the weekend, if there were accommodations available. There is a Hamfest on that day in Bristol. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

I wanted to avoid Mother's Day weekend. I don't have to be there for the cleanup to happen, but it seems that there is more clear instruction on what should be tossed and not. There was a previous cleanup attempt that wasn't finished because I wasn't there to direct them as to what could be tossed. It got us further, but we still have a way to go.
