Some colleagues of mine are looking for some very specific laptop models, in the 10-15 year-old range. If you or anybody you know has a line on any of these, please contact me off-list. There's some reasonable money involved, but the model numbers must be an exact match. Here's their wishlist: Samsung RF510-S01 Samsung RF510-S02 Samsung RF511-S02 Samsung RF511-S03 Samsung RF710-S02 Samsung RF711-S01 Samsung RF711-S02 Dell Latitude D410 (Samsung NP400B2B-A01)
I have what I recall being a Dell Latitude -- but I don't recall the "D410" designation. How does one tell? Bruce NJ On Wed, May 12, 2021 at 12:02 AM Stephen A Edwards via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

The D410 can be seen near the hinge just above the keyboard, right below the screen. On Wed, May 12, 2021 at 8:06 AM Bruce via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

No such designation on mine, so I guess it's a different model. Bruce NJ On Wed, May 12, 2021 at 8:13 AM Jeff Salzman via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

I remember at that time there was a 400, 600, and 800 series. I did have all three at various times . 400 series did not have a CD / DVD Drive internal. At boot I am pretty sure the series also came up on screen. I could be mistaken, but I could be wrong also. Mike Rosen Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.
