And here are mine: http://silent700.blogspot.com/2018/05/vcf-east-2018.html One small suggestion for next time: name tags! I really enjoyed meeting people whom I knew only through email and usernames, and everyone was friendly as can be, but I'm sure I missed some names due to hectic pace of things. A spot on the staff badges for a name and/or a pile of Avery stick-ons at the door would be a nominal expense and a great benefit. I'm glad to have finally made a trip out there this year. If time allows, I'll see you all next year as well. Thanks to Evan, Alex, Kelly and all the other staff and volunteers I met for putting on a solid show. And the venue is great - If I were a local I'd be spending a weekend a month there, helping/hiding out. -j (silent700)

I was wondering this. The exhibitor badges this year were nice printed plastic - but didn't have a space for your name. Last year's tags were cardstock with a place to fill in your name, and some of us had labels. 1) Were we supposed to turn these reusable badges in? 2) Can I stick a label on mine and reuse it next year? -- Jameel Akari

No, you keep them.

We had labels and Sharpies at the front desk. But we did a poor job of communicating that. My fault for arranging the schedule in a way that led to Amy/Ann at the desk being too busy to inform people of this.
Jeff, I have a Ptouch that will make black on clear and white on clear up to 3/4 wide in the CDL lab. Note for next year....

We own a label maker too, that wasn't the issue.
Name tags could be worn by attendees (those willing), as well as exhibitors. Cheap "Hello, my name is ..." would be sufficient. Mike Loewen mloewen@cpumagic.scol.pa.us Old Technology http://q7.neurotica.com/Oldtech/
