FS: More Ohio Scientific 495 Boards
link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/272173918152 Buy it Now for $100, feel free to make an offer! $100 is slightly less than I have in each board. These are the three remaining spares from my prototype run. I'll use their sales to determine if/when I'm going to do another run -- don't want to get stuck with a ton of protoboards and be out the money. *** If you want one of these, let me know! *** I'd be happy to keep them as a stock item, but I don't think there's going to be huge demand for them. Thanks, Jonathan
I had a chance to visit one of my vintage components suppliers yesterday and picked up a bin of 12-position Molex KK-156 connectors as used on OSI gear. The auction now includes four of them, soldered down to the board with Kester 63/37 "44 Core" leaded solder. They're the old translucent yellowish natural Nylon kind, not modern white plastic parts. Thanks, Jonathan
Finally did a writeup on these: http://www.glitchwrks.com/2016/04/22/cloning-the-495 I'm working on building a RAM board with one at the moment. I'm going to write it up with schematics + directions, so that will be up shortly! Thanks, Jonathan
