About how many vendors/tables are anticipated?
There is no way to know how many are anticipated mostly because it will be indoors this time as opposed to outdoors. If it was outdoors, then I would say 100 vendors. We had about 20 for the first one in October 2020, about 60 in April 2021, so it tripled.
Was there 75 (or more) last April? I didn't count. I know it was at least 50-60. Seemed that way.
Off the top of my head we had about 60 vendors last time in April. I would expect more this time as this will be our third swap meet and we have established ourselves as a substantial swap meet in terms of both vendors and buyers. Also there are lot of both buyers and sellers itching to buy and sell their items.
The following phrase from the new flier should be put on the event's official web page. As the page looks now, there's little reference to anything other than vintage computing, which I don't believe would make the event very enticing to HAM radio and vintage electronics enthusiasts who helped the last swapmeet get as big as it did. I believe we should continue catering to the other closely related hobbyists in all texts and advertising of our swapmeet events. Yes, I see the link to the flyer on the page, but why not offer a complete summary of "WHAT" on the event's page since they're viewing it anyway. *"WHAT: Vintage Computers & Electronics, Radios, TVs, HAM Radio, Other Tech"* And now, at the risk of being pedantic... I don't think we need to put " https://vcfed.org/wp/vcf-swap–meet <https://vcfed.org/wp/vcf-swap-meet>" on the web page, once, much less twice as it is. It's a redundant link to the same page that they're already viewing the links on. Perhaps we should add links to any pictures and reviews of the past swapmeets so new potential vendors can see we have a rather successful event history.
