Re: [vcf-midatlantic] PDP-8/V project
Congratulations. Want to see the video when you have ASR-33 hooked up. Assume OS/8 still boot faster than a modern PC. I have to run a PDP-8 and a couple peripherals to get the basement comfortable in the winter. Yours should do better. On Tue, Nov 14, 2023 at 04:54:37PM -0500, Mike Rieker via vcf-midatlantic wrote:

Hi All,
Y'all might be interested, I actually got the PDP-8/V finished!
It runs OS/8 (at a little over 13 kcps).
Only 1.72kW so doesn't need a twist-lock ;(

I have a friend with an ASR33 so will hook that up next, and I have to figure out how to make some kind of box for it.
