how about a lovely vintage printer for that computer :-)
I have some things that need adoption, starting with a lovely Panasonic KX-P1124 24 pin dot matrix printer. Come on, upgrade from that 9 pin printer already!
That really is a great printer are used to have that 20years ago in my business I still have a box of paper for it! But can you get ribbon cartridges? Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

That truly IS a lovely printer. Exactly that model is one of the few computer-related things that I've ever purchased brand new. I think it's one of the best consumer-level dot-matrix printers ever sold. I no longer have my old one, but I have one of the same model. Matt Patoray also used one back in the day. It's something we talk about every now and then, as we both really loved them. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA

I actually think they still make some supplies for this. It was for the very odd reason that they needed it for some kind of paper work that needed to be done in triplicate on carbon copy paper. I recall going into Staples (not even remotely recently) and seeing it there. I still have the printer and some sealed ribbons. I bet they're dried up but I think you can re-ink them pretty easily. BTW, mine has the 32K static ram upgrade chip also. So ha! (yes that was childish ;-) ). Also BTW, the oldest centronics like interface I had ever worked with was a AP Lithograph printer (~1941 vintage). We had to hook up our OS/9 machines to the printer to take AP wire photos and drive the printer. It's interface was a bit slow (by 1970's standards) but was basically the familiar 37 pin centronics printer interface but with signal voltages of +/- 25v DC. I hated the smell of that printer while working on it. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies
If no one else wants it, then I will take it! I’m sure there is support for it for Commodore 64 ;) At the very least GEOS should support. On Sun, Nov 18, 2018 at 7:14 PM Jeffrey Jonas via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
