Could the issue be as simple as this: with the "strip html" option enabled in the list settings, does it pass text emails fine and put html emails into .eml attachments?

If so -- and if there will be lots of people using message clients which default to html format -- then the question is, do we keep that list option enabled or put it back to disabled? Which is worse -- the attachments or an occasional HTML message?

I will ask the list company if we can have things both ways.....
