Yes, exactly what I was thinking about trying to do myself, eventually.
I've discussed this very thing with both David Gesswein (maker of the MFM
emulator http://www.pdp8online.com/mfm/mfm.shtml ) and Jim Drew ( Maker of
the SuperCard Pro http://www.cbmstuff.com/proddetail.php?prod=SCP )
Their experience in successfully building readers and emulators of hard
drives and floppy disks/drives is something I would need to draw upon when
I am ready to tackle that level of the project.
I'm curious if anyone else has heard of this being attempted as of yet?
