[vcf-midatlantic] PDP 8i's (10 yes 10 of them)

Guys,
Tomorrow I plan to go to the family's house who owns 10 PDP 8i's.  I don't
want one just so you know, but I am hoping to find a good home for them.  I
mentioned the VCFed museum, etc. when I visited them last time to see if
they'd donate one, but they want $$ for these.  I am thinking they may have
an inflated idea of their value.

The tape units are not DEC, they look like IBMs.

They're is not returning my emails so I am going to pay them a visit to see
what's what with these machines, on my way to festivus.  He lives in the NJ
pine barons near my old High school home town, Medford NJ.

Anyhoo...if I don't show up at the festivus now you know why.

What I need from you all BEFORE Saturday morning
1)  Show of hands for anyone interested in a complete PDP 8i system (each
is three full sized rack cabinets)
2) What would you pay for such a thing, assuming you had to rent a truck,
move the racks into your truck, etc.  Look at the condition closely, these
ain't new.

I want to take these informal offers info to these people to see if I can
get him to budge.  I am looking for honest offers given the circumstances.

Although I don't mind discussing this publicly feel free to send to me
serious offers privately via vintagecomputer.net/contact.cfm.  I will print
the forms and deliver to the owner.

If there are less than 10 offers I will discuss some sort "how do we part a
few of these out" deals.
