I mean, if we're going to be properly vintage, I have a turntable and a pile of Pink Floyd albums. No RIAA preamp, though.
I generally tend to agree that no one is going to be satisfied with any particular choice, so I'd second the assertion that we let the melodious sound of our scintillating conversation be the music.
Either that, or someone should at least be thematically appropriate and bring a PDP-8 to play some music on through an AM radio.
