I can't make it next week.

My plan to finish is to house the RPi  externally perhaps in a little box
on the back so I can eventually switch in a Next Thing Co CHIP, which
should be able to handle the light dimming mod, plus it has WiFi and
Bluetooth built in..  I envision a connector port for the 40 pin cable on
the back at least.  This makes the most sense to me, rather than little
holes for USB and HDMI cables.

I still need to shave down the front inner lip of the box so the panel
cover sits right on top, I have a 2015 model.  These are nice, worked the
first time without need for repairs.
