My wife is completely disinterested in anything technology related. She
loves her figure skating and polar bears and Coach bags (which I am
expected to understand), but when I try to share my hobby with her, she is
like a deer in the headlights. However, she is incredibly understanding and
encouraging and never places any unfair limits on me. As long as we can
afford it, she is fine with me making reasonable purchases, and she is
generous with me spending time at events (as long as I don't force her to
attend, she would be bored to tears). I think the key is that we respect
each other and we never take advantage of each other. She knows that she is
my priority so there is never a conflict. I am very thankful for the
relationship that I have with my wife.
