Wow. That's amazing. Thanks. I'm a little remote from NJ (Northern VA) but who knows, maybe I can participate in one of these some day

Hello Glenn!

Glad to have you here. :)

The workshops used to be 2 or three times per year, but I'm hoping to increase that to 8 to 9 times per year. This workshop is tomorrow. I scheduled the next two workshops in February 27/28 and March 12/13. There will be none in April. I hope to have one in each month from May to September, but that will depend on availability and our schedules. October through December will be harder, because 9032-A is not available, but I'm working on an alternate location.

The workshops are typically two days. That is enough for many of us to get a good amount of repairs done. Often leaving it overnight to finish the next day is best.

These workshops are where a dozen or two of us get together and bring computers or equipment to fix, get help on or just to learn. It is a great environment with lots of smart guys with knowledge and experience. The beauty of having it in the larger space 9032-A is that we can spread out our stuff and have more than plenty of room. Some of us have limited space at home and find it difficult to work on this stuff because of space or distractions at home.

We work on all sorts of stuff. Anyone is welcome to bring any vintage computer related item, or simply to watch and learn. I started out knowing nothing and have learned a lot.

Hope this helps explain!

Jeff Brace
