The procedure is to let Evan, Corey or myself know that you are interested.
Then we all must approve your appointment. Then one of us will train you to
become docent. Everyone that has been docent just stays for the day and
then drives back home. The longest commute has been Bill Deg who drives
about 2 hours. You are certainly welcome to stay at a hotel, but in the
summer months the rates are jacked up in this area. Off the record it is
possible for you to set up an air mattress or cot and you can sleep in the
museum space, but this would need to be approved by the board members. It
has air conditioning/heating and a bathroom in the museum building, but no
shower. There are showers in the hotel building, but I have no idea if they
are in working condition.
I assume that you are interested in becoming a docent. Where do you live?
When would you want to be docent?
