If you perform the reset and it's still indicating that the battery needs
replacing, then it's sure. Also look for corrosion on the terminals.
I've seen in some homes where the ONT was put into a garage,
or wet/unfinished basement. From my research online, they tend to fail
sooner due to more significant temperature changes and high humidity.
