At least this list says [vcf-midatlantic] unlike that cc-talk thing where 
they refuse to inject the info in the subject line so it looks like the 
few spam emails that make it through the filtering.

Also, at least in modern email clients like the one I use (Pine) it has a 
link at the bottom with the title "this email contains list management 
information."
