[vcf-midatlantic] OT: people don't understand computers anymore

I like the car analogy as well.

The only reasons I can think of that anyone should care how computer works is for efficiency of either electricity or human effort to complete a task.

Outside of those things it seems trying to explain computers to average citizens is like explaining physics to a fish to help it swim.
