Oh, I plead guilt to this. Now when my wife asks for an explanation
I quake in fear as I seldom can explain a complex subject without
contradiction and the answer 'It's complex ...' makes her angry in
that I am suggesting that she's too ignorant.

This lead to many discussions where I start out telling her wait, then
pause for 5 minutes while I think of a way to explain without really
explaining.
