I'm in the UK so probably not worth shipping an actual unit but I do 
have a couple of 703's that can switch between 300 & 1200 baud. I 
believe the only differrence  to a standard 300 baud unit is a ROM 
upgrade. I can see if I can dump the ROM if that is any help to you?
