To be clear, I don't use it for filtering rules. Those should use
the proper list identification headers; that's what they're for.
But due to the importance of this list to me, I don't shunt this
traffic off to another folder upon receipt; it hits my main mail spool.
That mail spool receives about 200 messages per day, and the list tag in
the subject line allows me to quickly and without really thinking about
it identify a given message as being relevant to this mailing list in my
message list display window.
