Pleeease keep it! cctalk doesn't have it and it drives me bonkers.
Feel free to shorten it to like, vcf-ma or something. Even VCFM.

I'm one of the few (probably) that still use Pine as my primary email 
client, I tend not to delete the [ ]'ed list posts but without it -- 
things tend to look like spam or other poop.

And before you say, Filter it! If I filtered it all into a another folder 
I'd never read it.
