I'm also interested in reading the SPITBOL 2.0 manual. I assume this is 
the IIT  report from 1971: "R. B. K. Dewar, '/SPITBOL/ version /2.0/', 
IIT Internal Report, 78 pp., 1971"
I found a reference to it at
