[vcf-midatlantic] OT: Wi-fi range extender

  These are off-the-shelf products that have been around for awhile.  I
(rather unfortunately) had to study that technology and the available
chipsets at the request of a customer recently.  It works reasonably well
if everything is perfect...if not, not so much.  But either way, we've been
able to buy that stuff off the shelf for quite awhile now.
