>So ... got anything to report? How is the event? Photos?

Tons to report, but things are still pretty busy. Talks, linkups, largest
Garage Give Away, impromptu sessions,,, ALWAYS a good time!

The theme seems to be "preservation" this year. No other major hardware
announcements were made. Applesauce, the raw floppy flux capture project
from John Morris, is onsite and working well. John is able to read,
capture, convert, and then run PROTECTED images in an emulator. This has
been the holly grail for preservation, and where the EDD has failed in many
areas. Some of the main "cracking" guys seem to be very impressed. It's
planned release is later this year. I'll make an announcement here and on
the ReActiveMicro.com mailing list (http://store.reactivemicro.
com/email-newsletter/).

Also a couple old skool hackers/programmers from France are here (Brutal
Deluxe Software) and announced they have managed to save a lot of the more
adult Apple II titles and will be releasing a new site/page for their
hosting as well as uploading to ASIMOV.

Sessions and live streaming are here:

And much to everyone's regret, Evan and I will be driving back on Sunday.
;-)
