​since you can get the system to boot,
unless I'm mistaken, I doubt there is any cryptic password encoded in there,
if you have a Monitor Rom installed, you can get a Hex dump of memory and
disassemble the code​
and key in on this password prompt,
then you should see the password string for comparing the input
