I checked the security level and it is:
*Medium: *
*Inbound* policy: reject,
*Outbound* policy: accept

If I set it to
*Minimum:*
*Inbound* policy: accept
*Outbound* policy: accept

Maybe all three of us can figure this out tonight.
I can even try Leif's suggestion about UDP Port 69.
